{mosimage}[[Riccardo Giacconi]], Nobel Prize in Physics in 2002 for the discovery of cosmic X-ray sources, will be attending the X-Ray Astronomy 2009 International Conference (Bologna, September 7-11), organized by IASF Bologna and the other three astrophysical institutes in our city (the Department of Astronomy of the University, the local Astronomical Observatory and the Radioastronomy Institute). On September 10, at 9 p.m., Giacconi will give a public lecture called “Una rivoluzione in Astronomia 400 anni dopo Galileo”.
